Nomad Furniture beds have a sturdy slat system to provide firm support when combined with a good mattress. Our slat system removes the need for a box spring and thus lowers the bed to a comfortable height. We offer many different heights to fit your particular need and mattress thickness. All of our beds are easy to both assemble and, later, disassemble for moving. Our beds are very sturdy when assembled. It is easy to move the bed as a whole, just turn the bed on its side, and move it through doorways to other rooms. You can rest on our assurance of a good nights sleep.

The Placitas bed was designed to capture the spirit of the Southwest. Combining simple lines and a textured sunburst carving makes a bed that will liven up any bedroom. A matching end table will further enhance the Southwest flavor. The bed and table are available in Red Oak, Hard Maple, and Light or Dark Bamboo. The carving is available highlighted in blue or natural. As with all of our furniture there is no exposed hardware and it is easy to assemble.

El Paso Bed
“Out from the West Texas town of El Paso”. From the classic Marty Robbins song came the vision for the El Paso bed. The gently curved arch of the doweled headboard gives this stylish bed a clean look complimenting most bedroom decors. This solid bed is available in Red Oak, Hard Maple, and Light or Dark Bamboo with a hand-rubbed Danish oil finish. This bed captures the hill country of the South West. Capitan 4-Poster Bed with Mission Headboard
The Capitan named after the home of Smokey the Bear our Capitan 4-Poster Bed is the ultimate in both delicacy and strength. Pecos and Pecos Lite Beds
The Pecos bed answers the need for a well constructed solid bed at a reasonable price. There are no exposed connectors yet the bed breaks down easily into its individual components for easy moving and shipping. Clean lines and strong joints combine with a hand rubbed Danish oil finish to make a well built, affordable, piece of furniture that will last a lifetime. Shown is Pecos Bed.
The Pecos Lite bed does not have the Headboard shown in the picture. The Pecos Lite bed is as simple as a bed can get. We still use our special hardware to make it long lasting and pleasant to the eye. Available in Red Oak, Hard Maple and Light or Dark Bamboo.
Xtra Bed Option (footboard option for beds)
Do you love the bed but are looking for a more distinctive footboard? Ordering an Xtra bed option adds an extra crosspiece, along with seven inches in height, to the standard footboard of any Nomad Furniture bed. Vista Bed in Dark Bamboo
On the eastern edge of Albuquerque there is a mountain that rises 5000 feet from town. That mountain changes every day and all though the day but it always gives a beautiful Vista to those who live here. The Vista bed was designed knowing that the grain of our Bamboo boards shows its beauty well on a large scale. The main feature of our Vista bed is the solid Bamboo panel that is 20” high and wider than your mattress. That wide Bamboo panel gives a stunning exotic look to the Vista bed that is hard to beat. The Vista bed is 3” higher than our standard beds since the panel extends well above the legs. The Vista bed legs are also available in different heights for different mattress thicknesses.

Vista Mesa Bed
New Mexico is famous for our mesas. Mesas are flat topped hills, made famous in the old western movies, and the old Road Runner cartoons.
Our Vista Mesa bed shows off the grain of our bamboo boards very well. The bamboo jumps out to grab the eye of the observer. This version of the Vista bed uses a simple flat top instead of the curved top.

The Sandia Bed was created to capture the focal point of Albuquerque, Sandia Mountain. Sandia Mountain sits at the east edge of Albuquerque and rises over a mile from the Rio Grand river. It is home to the longest tram in world. Unparalleled views await the traverer atop the mountain. Sandia Peak has a great restaurant and is the top of Sandia ski area. For a wonderful outing, ride up on a full moon night and watch a beautiful sun set and an awesome moon rise at the same time. Wow!

The Bandelier National Monument, in the Jemez mountains, is home to one of the best preserved villages of the ancient Pueblo People. Climb up into the cliff dwellings to get a view of the valley floor dwellings.
This bed is reminiscent of the ladders used to climb to those high cliff dwellings. It is one of our newest beds which combines our home made dowels with gently curved boards for a rustic, authentic, New Mexico look. Shown in Red Oak with matching Tall Bed Table.
Full Moon Bed
One feature of New Mexico is our wide open vistas. You can see a sun set and a full moon rise from the same spot. What a treat.

The Rainbow Bed

Taos Day Bed
The Taos ski area is known for it's high ratio of expert to intermediate runs. It also boasts the longest, steepest slope in the country, Al's run. It will wear you out.

Pinon (pinyon) Bed
Pinon is a small town in Southern NM consisting of a post office and two churches. It is home to elk, deer, coyotes and wild pigs. The cattle ranchers who live in the area have a great sense of humor. The closest towns are Hope and Weed. Lots of pinon nuts too.

Our line of Alpha Wave beds is named for the waves in the headboards. The Alpha Wave headboard, shown in oak with a tall bed table. Beds are named based on the headboards, if the bottom head board crosspiece has one wave and the top crosspiece has two waves it is a 1x2 Wave.
