-I don’t bother to write reviews very often. But I wanted to add to the voices of other happy customers that bought frames from this amazing family business. I found Nomad Furniture through Spindle, an organic mattress family business that I bought an amazing latex mattress from. They suggested Nomad bed frames because it is one of the few companies out there that makes well designed frames that can correctly support the weight of my new mattress and thus assure its longevity. One of the things I loved about this company is that you can modify your frame easily in the cart. For instance, we made the legs of our king size mattress a bit taller; added extra support in the middle; added more slabs and were even able to choose the varnish, a completely organic one, among other options. When I had questions, Ken answered them every time over the phone. They are a family run business, so you will hear the background noise of people making your frames and makes it kind of hard to hear, but at the same time makes it very cool to know you are dealing directly with the people who are making your bed frame here in the U.S. The beds are manufactured here to your specifications and I think even the wood is from the U.S. They even assemble them before delivering them to make sure all the parts work and you dont have any issues, as you see with other companies. Delivery and ordering was seamless. My husband said it was super easy to put together and the instructions were great. No missing or extra parts. Most importantly, I cannot say enough of my experience dealing with a small family business. I had a surgery coming up, and I needed the bed because I just moved to a new state. Ken was super kind and after I asked if they could try to deliver it even a week earlier, to help me out, Ken did the impossible in a very busy season and delivered within a few days. By the way the bed frame was absolutely beautiful, no chemical odors, real gorgeous wood and excellent craftsmanship. I cannot recommend them enough. I wish they were more companies like Nomad Furniture and people like Ken, his family and employees. Thank you so much.
